The Jordan Loan Guarantee Corporation (JLGC), in collaboration with Jordan Exports, organized a workshop titled: "From Local to Global: Leveraging Export Credit Guarantees and Jordan Exports Support" at the Jordan Export premises.
The workshop aimed to introduce Jordanian exporting companies to the available services and programs that enhance the competitiveness of national exports in international markets, highlighting the role of JLGC’s Export Credit Guarantee programs in enabling exporters to expand safely while mitigating commercial and political risks.
The program included a presentation by Jordan Exports team on export development services and support plans for exporters, followed by a presentation from JLGC on the benefits of the Export Credit Guarantee program, how to access it, and areas of collaboration between the two entities to support the competitiveness of Jordanian exports.
The workshop was attended by representatives of exporting companies and stakeholders in the foreign trade sector. It also included an interactive discussion session to address participants’ questions regarding available support mechanisms and best practices for expanding into regional and global markets.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the importance of strengthening partnerships between national export support institutions was emphasized, as this contributes to enhancing the global competitiveness of Jordanian exports and supporting the national economy.
