The Jordan Loan Guarantee Corporation (JLGC) and Bank al Etihad have signed a cooperation agreement under the “Guarantee for Employment” Program, aimed at expanding access to financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and supporting their growth and expansion.
The program, funded by the German Government through the German Development Bank (KfW), links access to financing with the creation of new and sustainable employment opportunities for Jordanians.
JLGC Director General Adnan Naji highlighted the importance of the partnership in expanding financing opportunities for growth-oriented businesses and supporting their operational expansion and job creation.
For her part, Shatha Bdeir, Head of Small and Medium Enterprises at Bank al Etihad, emphasized the Bank’s commitment to empowering MSMEs through appropriate financing solutions, noting that the success of the partnership will be measured by its impact on business growth, job creation, and the wider economy.
The agreement reflects the commitment of both institutions to strengthening financial inclusion, empowering MSMEs, and supporting sustainable economic growth in Jordan.
